Blow It Out!

This day is sure to come around every year on the same date, it’s just no way around it. You can sleep through the day, you can deny that the date has arrived. You can even choose to skip a year or two recognizing it entirely. But it still remains valid. Once we get past a certain age the representation of this date goes deeper than gifts and the anniversary of the day on which we were born. So many people frown upon this momentous occasion in a sad or depressing disposition. For many this day brings on fear, anxiety and may insecurities. But here’s my question, “All these feelings you have about the infamous age change. Didn’t those feelings occur during the year before this specific day?” And if so, it’s time to make some changes. One way to make any new adjustments in life better requires some effort. Now aging in general terrifies many and that is something that is unavoidable. However all those things in between we have the ability to create some improvement for ourselves before the next calendar birthday notification. Make all the effort and strides to get yourself a better job, or to have a significant other in your life. Put some elbow grease in mending broken relationships that you desire to be repaired. Get back in the gym to get your body more into the shape that you envision in your mind. Whatever it is that is making you uncomfortable about celebrating another year of your life in this beautiful world. All those negative feelings and things that you feel you’re falling short on. The things that cause you to feel unsettled about growing older without. Work at them or towards them so that next year you can put your head up, smile and blow it out!
