Arra F. Gilliam

Chicago native Arra F. Gilliam has been passionately writing since her childhood. She credits her earliest memory for writing to her grandmother. For her persistent instruction in the art of writing a masterpiece of a letter to friends and family members. Awarded for several of her short stories in school. Arra has always enjoyed the freedom that writing provided. Studying film in college and working in the fashion industry, writing was always a constant.

After thirteen years of marriage with her husband and sharing the joy of raising their three boys together. Arra felt like it was the right time to begin professionally putting her writing into books. Her first upcoming book to be released, Accountable, pulls from all of her writing throughout the years. This book taps into the the journey of life. The rewards, the questions, doubts, fears, and all that comes our way. Arra’s philosophy has always been that life gives us so many opportunities to grow and to be our best us. But can only be achieved if we are conscience and accountable people. Standing up when we’re wrong and standing strong when we are right, being accountable for our everything.
